Leadership by Influencing

The presentation will be on leading by influence since many times when we lead a project we don’t always have authority over everyone involved. Lorraine will discuss leadership tendencies, and tie that into what we know about motivation based on applied neuroscience.

Speaker Bio

Lorraine Chavira has a master’s degree from the University of Arizona in educational psychology. She has been a manager with Raytheon for over seven years in the areas of Quality and Training and Development. Before being hired at Raytheon, she owned and ran a small business for nine years where she provided coaching, consulting and training for agencies such as the Department of the Interior, the Joint Interoperability Test Command on Fort Huachuca, Fidelity National Title Agency, and Arizona Superior Courts. Gaining awareness of the challenges and opportunities for those in leadership, she now focuses on leadership coaching and training and is preparing a leadership training experience that she’s entitled Cultivate Leaders.
