Hear the story of challenge in stakeholder management, standardization of real-time process and health operations, and merging 50-year-old systems at Banner Health's University Medical Center. Constantly establishing new connections between the lively and vocal residential neighborhood and a stream of newly identified stakeholders. General Contractor Sundt DPR and Banner Health juggled construction relationships with 40 subcontractors and 150 to 600 daily workers.

Banner Health’s Senior Project Executive, Steve Eiss, shares the details of the challenges and the reward of this monumental undertaking. Eiss, is part of Banner Health’s Development and Construction team, and the Sr. Project Executive for Banner’s Academic Division. Previous Projects Management positions include the Banner's MD Anderson Cancer Center, Banner’s Enterprise Data Center, Banner's new Corporate Headquarters, and other large healthcare projects. Steve, is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Architecture program, and attended Real Estate and Land Development classes at WP Carey School of Business. Steve is active in his community, a graduate of the Town of Gilbert Leadership Program, and is on the Board of the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.
