Lessons learned from a project failure

Lessons learned is one of those must do items in Project Management, and not just at the end of the project but throughout the process. Some of us never want to do it, rush through it, or minimize its importance.  However, if used correctly, it can be the foundation for success in your next project. Come learn and participate in an engaging practical experience of lessons learned; identification, documentation, validation, and dissemination. We will begin learning from a real-life project failure and share lessons learned as a group from projects completed in 2019, you are sure to leave with a better idea of how you can implement and benefit from a lessons learned in your own projects moving forward.

Paul Lovelis


Paul Lovelis is in charge of systems and operation for Pima County Public Defense Services, a local jurisdictional department of 8 divisions with over 180 employees.  He has worked for Pima County for 14 years, and has been in charge of implementing projects for 10 of those years.  Paul serves as the Vice-President of Programs for the local Tucson-PMI Chapter, and serves on 3 non-profit boards.
