Managing Stakeholders and Project teams at the City of Tucson
Software selection, development, and successful roll-out requires knowledge of stakeholders requirements and expectation management. The presenter will demonstrate how to do it well.
Guest Speaker: Jayson Lefer, PMP
Jayson has been a Project Manager for 16+ years, certified PMP since 2010. Early in his career in NYC, as a PM with Aon and Headway Corporate Resources, he consulted with major industry leaders in Home Security (ADT), Airlines (JetBlue) and Investment Banking (Cantor Fitzgerald) in streamlining and outsourcing their Recruitment Processes. After moving to Tucson in 2009 and getting certified by PMI, Jayson formed his own company and began providing PM services for non-profits and large-scale events. In 2015, he consulted on volunteer recruitment and transportation coordination with the Executive team that produced the World Meeting of Families and concurrent Papal Visit and Public Mass in Philadelphia. On a personal note, Jayson is “papa” to two rescue Chihuahua mixes 10 years apart. He is also a FAA certified commercial drone pilot. If not with his dogs or his drone, you will either find him on the golf course living down to his 17+ handicap or in the backyard living out a competition BBQ fantasy smoking a pork shoulder or beef brisket on his Big Green Egg.
