Guest Presenter: Andrea Singsaas, Owner, The Tyne Group
Andrea Singsaas is an award-winning executive coach who helps leaders develop by balancing growth and change.
Andrea believes in the power of one-on-one coaching as a means to define and navigate the path to professional development. She utilizes project management frameworks and communications knowledge to relate complex information and development paths to busy executives. Previous international consulting and project management experience spanning multiple industries fuels her creativity in solving problems for executives.
Andrea’s no-nonsense approach to leadership development has earned her roles as a speaker, podcast guest, and author. Her clients have worked across all industries, and at some recognizable organizations such as Target, MIT, Accenture, and the Department of Defense.
Most recently, Andrea was named the 2022 Inspirational Leader of The Year by The Rosie Network- a nationwide non-profit organization that promotes the entrepreneurial efforts of our nations' veterans and military spouses. She was also selected for a highly competitive global military spouse leadership development program hosted by the leading spouse advocacy non-profit, the Military Spouse Advocacy Network. As part of her leadership training she’s earned certificates from Harvard University National Preparedness Leadership Initiative and the McCrystal Group. She’s also earned certifications as a Mental Health Ally, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Andrea holds a Masters of Business Administration in from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As well as a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Simpson College.
Andrea is a subject matter expert and dedicated advocate for military spouse employment and military family issues. Her advocacy efforts target the long-term economic impact for spouses as they face chronic unemployment and underemployment, resulting in economic insecurity. As a military spouse herself, she hopes to raise awareness around the issue for employers and reduce barriers to entrepreneurship for spouses around the globe.
