Aligning Current Projects with Strategic Growth
Many project managers feel constrained when strategic planning seems to clash with existing commitments. In this presentation, we'll explore how to integrate ongoing and committed projects into your strategic roadmap, unlocking new potential instead of creating roadblocks.
We will also review the process PMI Tucson used to get to their strategic goals and why we chose what we did.

Guest Speaker: Paul Lovelis President PMI Tucson Chapter
Paul Lovelis was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, and is currently the President of PMI Tucson. Paul worked for Pima County Public Defense Services from 2005 to May of 2021. He now works for Pinal County Public Defense Services as the Operations Manager. Paul has managed software implementation projects, organizational change projects, served in leadership roles in building projects, and overseen strategic development for several non-profit organizations. In his time with Public Defense Services in both counties, Paul has focused on system enhancement, development, and employee training, as well as hosting a participatory budgeting project. In his non-profit professional roles, Paul has been actively involved in various leadership positions serving as the Chair of the Pima County Community Prevention Coalition from 2011-2021, the Chair of the Metropolitan Education Commission from 2012-2021, as VP of Programs for PMI Tucson from 2019-2021, and then as President of PMI Tucson from 2021 to present.
