Guest Presenters: Jennifer Tavasoli and Diego Arriola
Jennifer combines extensive experience in overseeing complex initiatives with a passion for enhancing organizational security posture through awareness and training initiatives. In the Enterprise Cyber Security department within Tucson Electric Power, Jennifer plays a pivotal role in driving collaborative efforts to strengthen defenses against cyber threats. Known for a proactive and driven approach, she adeptly navigates the intersection of technology and human behavior, ensuring that teams are equipped to mitigate risks effectively.
Diego is at the helm of designing, testing, and implementing enterprise cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the company's information assets. His responsibilities extend to managing a large team of professionals, coordinating cyber vulnerability assessments, and overseeing incident response and forensic investigations. Notably, Diego played a pivotal role in establishing a 24/7 Security Operation Center (SOC) in October 2022 and spearheading compliance audits, including the critical ENRC/CIP compliance.
